Our Icelandic Ewes
Betty
Betty is one of our original Icelandic ewes. She is our black mouflon Dante daughter who came to live with us in June 2015. Her dam is a black mouflon and her sire, Dante, is our spotted morrit. All of our sheep have personalities, but Betty's personality is one that stands out.
Betty carries mouflon, solid, spotting, black, and morrit. She is a good mother, has a fabulous fleece, and comes from milky lines.

Lola
Lola is our other original ewe. She is our black badgerface Dante daughter. Her dam is also a black badgerface, and Dante is our spotted morrit. Lola designated herself as our welcome wagon and has made herself an integral part of our flock.
She carries badgerface, morrit, black, solid, and spotting. She is an attentive mother, comes from milky lines, and has a lovely fleece that she passes to her lambs.

Gloria
Gloria is a twin daughter of Betty, our black mouflon ewe, and Barney, our solid morrit ram. She was all the proof we needed that both Betty and Barney carry spotting. It's hard to tell what her pattern is, but she is a spotted black ewe. We think her underlying pattern is solid. She is one of our welcome wagons.
She carries solid, black, morrit, and spotting. She comes from milky lines and has a good fleece.

Vivian
Vivian is our Bojangles' daughter who inherited his Single Gene Gray Mouflon (SGGM) color pattern. Her dam is a black mouflon. She has a very sweet personality and has many endearing qualities. She has a fabulous wide horn set and good conformation.
Vivian carries black, spotting, and mouflon in addition to the SGGM pattern. Her first fall fleece was extraordinary, both in color and feel. She comes from milky lines and is good with her lambs.

Sundee
Sundee is our matriarch. She is a solid black ewe out of a black badgerface ewe. Her sire is a solid spotted morrit. Sundee came to us as a proven ewe. She has a very sweet personality and has been known to demand attention. She is a faithful mother of twins that she raises well.
She carries black, solid, morrit and spotting. She comes from milky lines, has good conformation, and carries quality fleece genetics.

Lucy
Lucy is a solid black ewe. Her dam is a polled solid black and her sire was a spotted morrit. She is a character and also came to us as a proven ewe. Her grandmother was grand champion against breed standard in 2008.
She carries black, morrit, solid, and spotting. She is a wonderful mama, comes from milky lines, and produces a lovely fleece.

Ditto
Ditto is a twin solid morrit ewe lamb. Her dam, Sundee, is solid black while her sire, Dante, is a solid spotted morrit.
Ditto carries solid, morrit, and spotting. She comes from milky lines, has good conformation, a good horn conformation, and has a gorgeous fleece.

Esther
Esther is a twin black badgerface ewe lamb. Her dam is Lucy, a solid black, and her sire is Yoda, a black badgerface.
Esther has a nice wide horn set, comes from milky lines, and has a wonderful fleece. She carries black, badgerface, solid, and may carry morrit and/or spotting.

Sassy
Sassy is the black SGGM daughter of Lola, our black badgerface ewe, and Graylord, our black SGGM ram.
Sassy has a wonderful fleece, comes from milky lines, and has good conformation. She carries black, SGGM, and will carry either solid or badgerface. She may also carry morrit and spotting.

Seven of Nine
Seven of Nine (or Seven) was the seventh of nine lambs born, and one of three lambs born to her dam that year. She is a solid black ewe lamb. Her dam, Sundee, is also solid black while her sire, Bojangles, is a black SGGM.
Seven carries solid and black, and may carry morrit and spotting. She comes from milky lines, has good conformation, and has a luscious fleece.

Grace
Grace is the solid black daughter of Gloria, our spotted black, and Bojangles, our black SGGM. She has a wonderful fleece, fabulous conformation, and comes from milky lines. She carries black, solid, spotting, and possibly morrit.

Ebony
Ebony is a solid black ewe lamb, and one of our triplets. Her dam, Sundee, is also solid black while her sire, Bojangles, is a black SGGM.
Ebony carries solid, black, and spotting and may carry morrit. She comes from milky lines, has good conformation, and has a luscious fleece.

Dejavu
Dejavu is a single daughter of Betty, our black mouflon ewe, and Barney, our solid morrit ram. She was born almost a year and a day after her full sister, Gloria. She is a solid morrit ewe. She is one of our welcome wagons.
She carries solid, morrit, and possibly spotting. She comes from milky lines and has a fabulous fleece.

Indie is the daughter of Betty, our black mouflon ewe, and Bojangles, our SGGM ram. She has a fabulous black mouflon fleece and carries solid, morrit, and possibly spotting. She comes from milky lines and has a good conformation.

Belle
An adventuress girl who's always willing and eager to help, Belle is a solid black spotted ewe. She is the daughter of Grace, our solid black ewe, and Dante, our solid morrit spotted ram.
Belle is a real pleasure to work with, comes from milky lines, has a great maternal instinct, has wonderful conformation, and has a fabulous fleece.

Dahlia
Belle's bestie, Dahlia is a black mouflon ewe. Also a Dante daughter, her mother is Vivian, our original SGGM ewe.
Dahlia carries solid, morrit, and spotting in addition to black and mouflon. She has a lovely fleece, great conformation, and comes from milky lines.

Snowdrop
Snowdrop is a spotted Single Gene Gray Mouflon. Her dam is Lucy, a solid black, and her sire is Graylord, our black SGGM.
Violet has a fabulous fleece, an exceptional horn set, and comes from milky lines. She carries solid, black, and possibly morrit.

Frost is the morrit SGGM daughter of Indie and Rex. She either carries mouflon or solid, and possibly spotting.
She has a good fleece, great conformation, and comes from milky lines.

Dini is the solid morrit daughter of Ebony, a solid black ewe, and Dante, our solid morrit spotted ram.
She is outgoing and carries a quality fleece, great conformation, and comes from milky lines.

Sassafras
Sassafras (or Sassy) is a big black SGGM. Her dam is Lola, a black badgerface, and her sire is Bojangles, our black SGGM.
Sassy has a fabulous fleece, a lovely horn set, and comes from milky lines. She carries black, SGGM, and solid, she may also carry morrit and/or spotting.
Sassafras left our flock for a new one Summer of 2019.
